Hydraulic Principle & Internal Construction

The KCB series external spur gear pump operates via the counter-rotation of two involute spur gears inside a precision-machined casing. As the gear teeth disengage at the suction side, cavity volume expands to generate high suction vacuum. Liquid is carried within the tooth pockets along the casing perimeter and is positively displaced into the discharge port as the teeth mesh.
